Amongst many who sought to deter me, was one dear old Christian gentleman, whose crowning argument always was, “The Cannibals ! you will be eaten by Cannibals!”
At last I replied, “Mr. Dickson, you are advanced in years now, and your own prospect is soon to be laid in the grave, there to be eaten by worms; I confess to you, that if I can but live and die serving and honoring the Lord Jesus, it will make no difference to me whether I am eaten by Cannibals or by worms; and in the Great Day my resurrection body will arise as fair as yours in the likeness of our risen Redeemer.”

Hello. I am trying to find a real photo (not painted, I mean) of John G. Paton. I thought I might ask you where you got your picture of him. I am trying to find a place online where I can order a picture (at least an 8×10) for a room in our church. Thanks.
Hi, thanks for the question! I do not have too much insight into how to find one. Perhaps start by seaching Google for “John G. Paton” and using the “Images” tab to see if there are any you like.
Also, if you find a photo of him in a book about him that you like you may contact the publisher to see if they could point you to the source file.
